From Nano to Quantum: Putting a spin on electronics
Quantum technologies are expected to have a profound impact on how we perform even the most basic tasks, such exchanging information across electronic devices. Here we will see how current state-of-the-art nano technology can aid the next generation of quantum technology and have a closer look at ‘spin’. Whether quantum spins, or magnetisation in magnetic materials, there seem to keep cropping up in new quantum solutions, so we will explore why they seem to be so interesting.
