Coherent multiphoton nanoscopy

The seminar will focus on interdisciplinary work at the physics-life sciences interface with an angle towards nanoparticles and nanotechnologies. I will cover various aspects of optical microscopy technologies for imaging and sensing inside biological systems at the nanoscale. In particular, I will discuss coherent Raman scattering microscopy, which enables chemically specific label-free imaging inside living cells and tissues, and electronically resonant four-wave mixing with plasmonic nanoparticles for tracking and sensing at the nanoscale.
