Nano materials for light energy conversion
Solar energy conversion is one of the key technologies for reducing and eventually removing the fossil dependence for energy. On this open project we are going to study a new disruptive technology that overcome the semiconductor technology towards an alternative light conversion technology: rectennae. We will study different routes for fabricating these devices, understand the technological obstacles to overcome and discuss its potential deployment as a light to electricity conversion solution.
