Nanomaterials and the environement: possible impacts
Nanomaterials are likely to interact with the environment during the later stages of the life cycle (service life, disposal…). This raises some concerns regarding the risks associated with an increasing use of nanomaterials. Besides the purely scientific issues (exposure, (eco)toxicity…), this presentation will also address some aspects of the interactions between nanotechnologies and society and in particular, the regulatory framework around the nanomaterials.
